Here is our payment policy and terms and conditions for booking with us.
A minimum of 3% deposit is required to secure the booking. Full payment is due 1 day after the trip has taken place. Deposits for non wedding trips are refundable up until 48 hours before the date and time of the trip. In the event that Client for non-weddings needs to cancel the reservation with DMC Luxury, notice given via email or phone within 24 hours of reservation will result in a full charge on the credit card on file. If notified within 48 to 24 hours of the reservation window will result in a 50% charge to the credit card on file. If cancelled 48 hrs. before the reservation no charges will be billed and deposit will be refunded.
For Weddings a 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Remaining balance is due 3 days before the wedding date. For weddingsthe client is under the DMC Livery wedding agreement and unless otherwise noted, cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the date of the wedding and the deposit is forfeited. Trips cancelled within 30 days will be charged the full quoted amount for the trip.
1. Pricing-The total estimated charges stated in the initial quote may change based upon the actual hours provided. Upon completion of the trip, any additional charges will be processed based on the actual hours and services provided. No refunds or credits will be given for unused time due to an early return.

4. Overtime-Vendor cannot, and does not, guarantee the availability of overtime outside of the terms of service agreed to herein. It is of the utmost importance that Client makes allowances for anticipated delays and adheres to the agreed-upon time schedule. In the event that the Client desires a change to times and/or dates enumerated herein, or in any itinerary applicable to the Services, such modifications shall be permitted and performed under the sole discretion of the Vendor. Any overtime performed shall be billed in fifteen (15) minute intervals, and Client further agrees to pay additional charges incurred including, but not limited to, overtime, tolls, parking, or any other costs or Services as accrued or performed during the performance of the Services.
5. Prohibitions-The following acts or activities are prohibited in, or within 50 feet of, the vehicle: Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor, Consumption of Illegal Drugs,
Smoking or ‘vaping’ including, but not limited to, Tobacco, Marijuana, Incense, E-Cigarettes, Hashish, or any other illicit material, vaporized substance, or particulate matter. Violent, harassing, or unruly behavior, Conduct causing, or in Vendor or Vendor’s employee’s opinion is likely to cause, damage to the vehicle or any other party or property.
6. Seating Capacity- Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity
7. Cleaning-Extensive Cleaning (excessive bottles, spills, gum, etc. at Vendor’s discretion) $200.00. Sickness or biohazard (Interior) $350.00. Sickness or biohazard (Exterior) $250.00.
8. Damages-Minimum Rates- Damaged Seat $1000.00; Damaged Carpet $500.00; Damaged Television $1,000.00; Damaged Radio $750.00; Damaged Speaker $150.00; Burn, rip, or tear in Upholstery $750.00; Vandalism $500.00; Scratch, Dent, Body Damage $2,000.00 Damaged Cup holder $75; Removal of window stickers for emergency exits or other types of stickers $100 per sticker; Damaged Floor $2000; Resulting Downtime/Revenue Loss- Hourly Contract Rate
9. Lost Items- Client understands and agrees that Vendor is not responsible for items, valuables, or property left in, on, or around the vehicle, whether unattended or otherwise. Risk of loss shall rest solely with the owner of such property, and Vendor shall not assume such risk, indemnify for such loss, or otherwise reimburse the owner of any property lost, damaged, or destroyed. Lost items may be picked up from Vendor at Vendor’s availability.
10. Pickup/Dropoff Locations- Pick up and drop off locations need to be big enough for 40 ft long by 8-foot-wide vehicles. There can be no low hanging branches. Also, no soft ground where heavy vehicles may sink in. If customers do not follow these rules, the company has the right to terminate the trip if they cannot safely get to the pickup/drop off location.
11. Breakdown/Vehicle Change- Company is not liable in the event of a mechanical breakdown while on charter. Company may change vehicles as necessary without notice to, or consent from, client.
12. Airbnbs/Non-Hotels-Company reserves the right to deny any pickup or drop offs from Airbnb or non-hotel type rentals that the company does not believe one of their vehicles may safely get into or out of.
Severability: If any provision of this Agreement shall be declared by any court, arbitrator, or mediator of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect. If any provisions or restrictions are found to be unreasonable or invalid, these provisions or restrictions shall be enforced to the maximum extent valid and enforceable. Waiver: Failure of either party to insist on strict compliance with, or enforcement of, any of the terms, covenants, and conditions of this agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such terms, covenants, and conditions, or of any similar right or power hereunder at any subsequent time. Warranty Disclaimer: Except as expressly stated in this agreement, Vendor expressly disclaims and negates any implied or express warranty of merchantability, any implied or express warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and any implied or express warranty of conformity to models, samples, or practices. Choice of Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Maine without reference to any provisions regarding conflicts of law.
